Henderson, Nev. A 50-year-old Henderson woman was arrested yesterday afternoon for murder after stabbing her husband during a domestic dispute.

Henderson Police arrested Shirron Gayles-Zanders after police officers responded to the couple’s residence on the 1100 block of Strada Pecei on Nov. 4 around 11:20 a.m.

Officers were initially dispatched to the residence for a civil stand-by at the husband’s request so he could retrieve property. The victim did not wait for police and entered the residence where an argument ensued between the victim and Gayles-Zanders.

The name of the victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Gayles-Zanders is being held at the Henderson Detention Center on a charge of open murder.

A booking photograph is attached.
