Henderson Police Arrest Man in Suspected Kidnapping Case

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police tonight arrested a man suspected in a California kidnapping case.

Henderson Police received information indicating that the suspect may have returned to the Henderson area. After following up on leads, Henderson Police located a stolen motor vehicle taken from Mesquite, Nevada at an establishment located in the 100 block of East Bruner in Las Vegas. Further investigation by police led them to contact and positively identify the suspect, Joseph Hetzel, who was taken into custody without incident at approximately 6 pm.

Hetzel was transported and booked into the Henderson Detention Center where he was booked on a warrant originating out of Santa Barbara, California.
