Henderson Police and Metro Police Team to Arrest Three Suspects in Armed Robberies

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police, in collaboration with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, arrested three suspects for multiple armed robberies of cellular telephone stores around the valley.
On June 16, 23-year-old Rushard Burton was arrested without incident by Henderson Police. The other two suspects, Kejon Ward and Erica Caldwell were arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, also on June 16.

During the robberies, the suspects displayed handguns and demanded store employees move to the back of the store where they were told to lay face down on the floor. The suspects fled after taking cash and multiple cellular telephones.

No one was injured during any of the robberies.

Five total robberies have been connected to the suspects, including the Henderson robberies on April 28 at the Sprint store, located at 1022 W. Sunset Road, at about 9 p.m. and on May 26, at the Verizon store, located at 9985 S. Eastern Ave., around 8:15 a.m.

Burton is being held in the Henderson Detention Center on three counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, three counts of burglary while in possession of a firearm and three counts of kidnapping with a deadly weapon.
