Alternative Sentencing

Work Program

Why the work program?

When the Defendant was sentenced, there was a fine ($ amount) associated with the violation. If the Defendant is unable to pay the fine, the Judge can order the Defendant to the work program. The work program allows the Defendant to work off FINES OWED TO THE COURT. For each hour that the Defendant works in the work program, $10.00 is credited towards their  total fine balance.

When all of your sentenced hours are complete AND the $45.00 set-up fee is paid you will be released from the work program. If you have other conditions such as community service, anger management classes, traffic school, DUI classes, D.A.R.T., domestic violence, and other classes,
