In 2004, through a community assessment survey, we asked our residents to share their thoughts and opinions about city services and issues. We promised to share the results of that survey, and with the links on the left, you will find highlights as well as in-depth details from the survey. You will also find some quick facts of what the "Survey Said" in the 2004 fall issue of Henderson Happenings.
The survey has yielded some interesting insights into our community. We now have a better understanding of what our residents believe is important to their quality of life, how satisfied they are with City services, and where they want us to focus future resources and energies.
The 2004 Community Assessment Survey provides an excellent snapshot of the people in Henderson. The survey also provides future direction for the City. Along with our other research and communication efforts, these survey results will provide a clear and constant community voice in our future planning efforts.
The survey summary is available at City Hall, at public libraries in Henderson and on the Web at www.cityofhenderson.com. Or, contact the Public Information Office at (702) 267-2054.
