Enhanced Residential Recycling Pilot Program
In partnership with Republic
Services, the City will be offering a new
recycling program to residents.
This program allows users to place recyclables in a single container
rather than three separate bins. This approach will increase recycling
by making it easier and more convenient, resulting in less waste going
to landfills and directly impacting the City's efforts to build a
sustainable community.

Community Development will be submitting a zone change application on July 15, 2010 to amend the City of Henderson zoning map. The purpose of this amendment is to bring zoning on numerous parcels located throughout the city of Henderson into conformance with a recently adopted development code (HMC Title 19).
