Property Management Common Questions
  • What is annexation?
Annexation is a change in jurisdiction from one governmental entity to another. For example, when annexed into the City of Henderson, services formerly provided by Clark County such as fire, police, parks, water, sewer and zoning are then provided by the City of Henderson. See Nevada Revised Statues (NRS 268.570) for more information on annexation.
  • Why is annexation considered?
Annexation is often requested by property owners in order to receive services such as utilities necessary for the development of their property. Other properties are considered for annexation providing Henderson the opportunity to ensure quality planning for future growth and development.
  • What easements affect my property?
One of the best ways to know what easements affect your property is to have a preliminary title report prepared. Contact a title company for that service.
  • I need a surveyor, who do you recommend?
We are unable to recommend surveyors for private projects. The yellow pages in the phone book lists the surveyors in the area.
