Welcome to the City of Henderson's Online General Business License Application
Please be aware, applications for Privileged Business Licenses must be submitted in person at the Business License Center located in City Hall. Privileged licenses are reviewed for compliance and individuals may need to be fingerprinted by the Police Department. Please read the instructions below to determine if a privileged license is required for your business.
By submitting an online application, you accept that e-mail contact will be made with your business to collect additional information and provide instructions on paying your license fees online. Once any additional requirements are met and your license fees are paid, your business will be issued a sixty (60) day temporary license, during which time you must complete all utility, building, fire safety and community development inspections. If all required inspections are not completed within 60 days, your license will be immediately rendered invalid.
NOTICE: Business licensees must comply with all federal, state and local laws, including the City of Henderson Municipal Code. Failure to comply with the law may subject the licensee to legal action by the City and/or third parties; receipt of a City issued business license shall not serve as an excuse for non-compliance with the law.
The possession of either a general business license or privileged business license shall not be deemed to relieve the holder of the requirement to apply for or obtain any other license or permit required by ordinance or statute.
