NO CAREER DAYS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, GRAND OPENINGS & VENDOR (STORES) REQUESTS

No Career Days
Henderson Fire & Police Departments are developing a new program designed for senior high school aged, small classroom environment, and college and adult groups interested in a First Responder career.  This program will be available in 2009.  Neither department will schedule career events for elementary or middle schools.

No Birthday Parties
Birthday party requests, for fire personnel to appear at a party or to have the party at a fire station, are never scheduled. Schedule a station tour and then hold your party at another location.

No Vendor or Business Requests
Due to high call volume and costs, we do not send crews to grand openings or other types of vendor or business special events and safety fairs.

No Contacting Individual Fire Stations
Please do not contact fire stations or other departments directly.  Please fill out the on-line Event Request Form.

During Your Event – Call for Service

  • All fire stations are on an "on-call" status, even during the station tour or event.
  • If the crew is not at the station when you arrive, please wait, they may be back in 10-20 minutes.
  • During a station tour, if crews receive a call for service, you will be escorted out of the station.
  • If the crew is scheduled to appear at your location, and they do not arrive on time or at all, they are on a call.
  • If for any reason your event is cancelled, it can be rescheduled.
  • Please refer to the Event Request site and resubmit your request.

We will do all we can to honor your request for our services.
