Minimum Qualifications for Firefighter
- High school diploma or equivalent at the time of application
- At least 18 years of age by the date of the written examination
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess a current certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or above at time of the Chief's Interview for Firefighter
- Possess or obtain one of the following certifications at the time of the final offer of employment
- Southern Nevada Health District EMT certification or above
- State of Nevada EMT certification or above
- National Registry Certification as an EMT or above
- Any Firefighter hired after July 1, 2014 must reside within Clark County, Nevada within one year of their date of hire.

- Salary range $52,270.40 - $89,398.40 annually ($17.95 - $30.70 hourly)
