Henderson Community Safety Expo

Henderson Community Safety Expo 2017 - National Night Out

Saturday, October 14 | 11am-3pm
Henderson Fire Training Center |
401 Parkson Rd.
Complimentary Admission
The Henderson Community Safety Expo features exhibits from the Henderson Fire and Police departments, and more than 100 area businesses and community groups.

The event showcases products and services that promote personal safety, crime and fire prevention, risk reduction, injury prevention, and health and wellness. Many exhibitors offer interactive demonstrations and activities for all ages.

The expo also incorporates National Night Out, a community-building campaign that promotes public safety and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

This year Henderson Fire Department will celebrate its 75th anniversary in conjunction with the expo. Originally placed into service in 1942 to protect the Basic Magnesium Plant, it went on to become the Henderson Fire Department with the city’s incorporation in 1953. The public will be invited to watch firefighters give live demonstrations of fire suppression, vehicle extrication, technical rescue and emergency medical services.
