Summer Fun (grades K-8)

Available June 6-August 12
Summer Fun is a seasonal no-cost drop-in program for youth held within their neighborhoods. Activities may include arts and crafts, games, sports, and special events. Youth must currently be attending or have completed grades K-8 of the current school district year. There is a nominal cost for special events. 

A parent/guardian must complete a participant information form for each child prior to program participation. Onsite registration is available on the program start date at the location your child will be attending.

Locations:
McCaw, R. Taylor and Sewell elementary schools

The Summer Food Service Program is available at Summer Fun. The program, which is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Nevada Department of Agriculture, ensures that children do not go hungry during summer break. Free breakfast and lunch is served for children ages 2-18.

Breakfast is served weekdays at McCaw and R. Taylor from 8am-9am and from 8:30am-9am at Sewell. Lunch is served weekdays at McCaw and R. Taylor from 10:30am-Noon and from 10:30am-11am at Sewell.
