Traffic School InformationYou must appear at the clerk's window before or on the court date listed on your citation to enter a plea of Guilty or Nolo Contendre and request traffic school BEFORE you attend the class. Traffic school does not reduce the fine amount but paying the fine and completing traffic school by the due date will amend the violation to a parking violation (no points are reported to DMV on parking violations). You may only request traffic school once a year and there is a traffic school fee, which is in addition to your citation fine amount. You will be given a due date and list of approved schools at the time you enter a plea. Failure to complete traffic school by the due date will result in the original violation being reported to DMV. The Court's window clerk may offer 1st Level Traffic School (5-1/2 hour class) if:
