In 2001, the City of Henderson Neighborhood Services Division was created by Council to assist in the facilitation of complicated issues stemming from Henderson's rapid growth. Neighborhood Services strives to maintain positive neighborhood relations, encourage public participation, promote citizen self-sufficiency, provide affordable and stable housing, preserve neighborhoods and leverage resources to serve our community.
The City is currently in the process of implementing a registry of abandoned homes.
Lead-Based Paint Program
Neighborhood Services has collaborated with UNLV on the Henderson Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Program, which reduces lead hazards in pre-1978 homes. Learn more here.
