WHY:  On December 18, 2012 the city of Henderson adopted the Clark County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (Plan) developed in coordination with the local government jurisdictions within Clark County. The Plan includes a Mitigation Action Plan (MAP) that recommends actions and projects to mitigate specific natural and human caused hazards that have the potential to impact the city, to protect people and property from loss associated with those hazards. The recently completed annual evaluation of the MAP shows the city has made significant progress toward meeting the recommended actions and completing the projects.
