Henderson, Nev. Indie rock band A Crowd of Small Adventures kicks off the ArtBeat presented by Target fall season with a performance at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 Water St., at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 20. Admission is complimentary. ArtBeat presented by Target is the City of Henderson’s signature cultural arts series.

The Las Vegas-based band cranks up the intensity with dance-rock rhythms, nuanced lyrics and joyful exuberance. Their eclectic songs blend genres as diverse as chamber rock and indie-inspired rock.

The band released their debut album in 2010 and is set to launch a Kickstarter campaign in September for their third release, a five-song EP of original tunes. Band members are also working on the musical score for a feature film.

A Crowd of Small Adventures includes Jackson Wilcox, vocals and guitar; Megan Wingerter, violin, viola and keys; Anthony Sermeno, drums; Kevin Oakley, bass; and Sean Villaros, guitar.
