Henderson, Nev. – Meet the people behind the badge at the Henderson Police Department’s latest “Talk Shop with Cops” community meeting and learn more about what officers are doing to help keep the community safe.
Henderson Police will host “Talk Shop with the Cops” on Wednesday, September 18, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 S. Racetrack Rd.
“We want the community to know what we are doing to help make our city safe,” Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers said. “These meetings give us another chance to hear residents’ concerns and continue to work together.”
This event will focus on activities and issues such as traffic, crime trends and neighborhood safety specific to the East Area Command. Henderson Police held a “Talk Shop with Cops” meeting in the West Area Command in April and one in the North Area Command in July.
The meeting on Wednesday, September 18, will be hosted by Capt. Brian Dunaway of the East Area Command. A question and answer period will be held after the presentations. Chief Moers encourages residents to attend the meeting for the opportunity to share with the Police Department their thoughts and concerns on crime and other issues in their neighborhoods.
We encourage all members of the community to come out and participate.
