Henderson Pavilion Spring 2014 Season Revealed
Outdoor performing arts amphitheater presents Gin Blossoms, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and Charlie Chaplin’s The Circus

The Henderson Pavilion, located at 200 S. Green Valley Pkwy., unveiled its much-anticipated spring 2014 performance lineup today. The schedule includes a Grammy-nominated artist, a scrumdidilyumptious musical for golden ticket holders, a blast from the past with #Flashback, and a silent filmmaker’s anniversary, a century in the making. All shows are $10. Tickets go on sale to the general public today at 10 a.m. on

Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka
April 4-6 and April 11-13
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.
Sundays at 4 p.m.
Tickets $10

The Las Vegas Shakespeare Company brings to life the timeless tale of a world-famous candy maker and his search to find a successor to his chocolate factory in this musical adaptation, which features songs from the Oscar-nominated motion picture Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

#Flashback Series Featuring The Atomic Punks - The Tribute to Early Van Halen
May 3 at 8pm
Tickets $10

It’s the ultimate tribute to early Van Halen when The Atomic Punks rule the stage. Note for note, it’s an electrifying old school experience by the band David Lee Roth calls “the best tribute to Van Halen ever.” *See all three #Flashback shows for $25.

Henderson Symphony Orchestra

The Henderson Symphony Orchestra presents its season finale, featuring Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem and guest artists Cecilia Lopez, soprano; and Tod Fitzpatrick, baritone.

#Flashback Series Featuring Rhymin’ N Stealin’ - The Original Beastie Boys Tribute Band
May 31 at 8 p.m.

The original Beastie Boys tribute band is licensed to chill as they power through the legendary rappers’ biggest punk-inspired hits, eclectic grooves and live scratch sets. *See all three #Flashback shows for $25.

Henderson Symphony Orchestra Presents a Live Screening of Charlie Chaplin’s The Circus with Special Film Opener Kid Auto Races at Venice
June 7 at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets $10

The Henderson Symphony Orchestra celebrates the life and films of Charlie Chaplin, recreating a classic cinematic experience with a performance of the musical score to the Academy Award-winning The Circus, synchronizing the songs and sound effects to each scene, as it plays on the silver screen above. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Little Tramp, as well as the 125th anniversary of Chaplin’s birthday, and in honor of this, Kid Auto Races at Venice, the very first appearance of the iconic character, opens the show.

Gin Blossoms

The Gin Blossoms undoubtedly left their mark on the pop and rock music map. Fans from around the world recognize the Gin Blossoms for their five-time platinum album New Miserable Experience, which contains gems like “Until I Fall Away,” “Found Out About You,”  “Hey Jealousy” and “Allison Road.” The Grammy-nominated band followed up those hit tracks with Empire Records soundtrack hit, “Til I Hear It From You,” and the singles “Follow You Down” and “As Long As It Matters.”
