Henderson residents take to the streets this weekend for Henderson Stroll ‘n Roll. Admission is free.

WHAT: Henderson Stroll ‘n Roll

WHEN: Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

WHERE: Paseo Verde Parkway

WHY: Henderson Stroll ‘n Roll is modeled after the world-famous Ciclovia in Bogotá, Colombia, an internationally-renowned health celebration that opens the streets to pedestrians and cyclists to enjoy without vehicles.

The Henderson route has no beginning or end. Residents are able to bike, walk, skate or play on a portion or the entire 1-mile car-free roadway. Along the way, they can stop at Paseo Verde Park, Discovery Park or the Henderson Multigenerational Center and enjoy free exercise classes, children’s activities, interactive demonstrations, and food trucks.
