The 2014 Gold Medal award-winning City of Henderson Public Works, Parks and Recreation Department is accredited through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and is committed to providing residents with a variety of life-enriching classes, workshops and events. These programs are hosted at 60 neighborhood and community parks, 11 aquatic facilities, and eight recreation centers (including two centers for adults 50+). Jingle Bell Run
Be there with bells on for the inaugural Jingle Bell Run. The event is Dec. 20 at 9am at Pecos Legacy Park and features a 5K run and family fun walk.
