ABC Etc.
ABC ETC. is a state-licensed preschool specially designed for children 3-5 years of age and is held at Valley View Recreation Center.

Open REC
This program is based on recreation activities: arts and crafts, games, movies, plays, tournaments, and special events, to name but a few.
These activities are designed to develop a positive self-image, and
promote group interaction, socialization and creativity.

Jr. Kids Zone
This Monday-Friday program is designed specifically for 4- to 5-year-old preschoolers. The program provides participants with a variety of
supervised activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, sing-alongs, circle time and special events.

Kids Zone
Kids Zone is an all-day program designed to entertain and enrich
Henderson youth. The program is held at four recreation centers on weekdays 7:00 am-6:00 pm.

A before- and after-school recreational enrichment program at all Henderson elementary schools. This fun-filled program focuses on crafts, games, cooking and special activities as an alternative while parents work.

Summer Fun
Summer Fun is a seasonal no-cost drop-in program for youth held right in their own neighborhoods. They experience a fun-filled summer of new and exciting activities that keep them intrigued and engaged.

Teens-N-Training
The mission of the Teens-N-Training junior leader program is to train teens, ages 14 and 15, to become recreation leaders and to provide assistance for our summer programs. This program encourages self-confidence in teens as well as develops communication and leadership skills.

Parents/teens must complete and submit a registration packet to the Youth Enrichment office the week of April 16-20. Packet is due by 7 pm on April 20. For more information, please call (702) 267-4100.

Teen Scene
This after-school program is for kids in grades 6-8. Teen Scene provides a USDA snack and features arts & crafts, cooking, sports, field trips, social events.

Teen Ventures
Teen Ventures is a nine-week summer program that promotes active participation. See how the summer unfolds as preteens and teens develop self-confidence and positive decision-making skills while forging new friendships.
