Policies

The Henderson Police Department Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) are living documents which provide the core values, vision and direction from the Chief of Police to the members of the Henderson Police Department. P&Ps detail the actions required by employees to carry out their duties to ensure the highest level of service to the community.

As a CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement, Inc.) accredited agency, we strive to  maintain organizational professionalism by constantly reviewing and updating our policies, reflecting the changes in Supreme Court decisions, state legislation, technology and operational processes.

Members of the Department hold themselves accountable to these polices and we appreciate the opportunity of sharing them with the community we are sworn to protect and serve.
