- Reconstructing Center Street from Burkholder Boulevard to Lake Mead Parkway
- Installing storm drainage improvements on Center Street, Ash Street, and Fir Street
- Relocating water service meters for the homes between Constitution Avenue and Center Street
- Narrowing the street to 62 feet and add landscape
Work is expected to begin July 31, 2017, and is anticipated to be complete at the end of June 2018.
Funding of $14.4 million comes from the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), Clark County Regional Flood Control District, and the City of Henderson Department of Utility Services. There is no cost to residents.
My water meter will be relocated. How do I know when the work will be done?
Prior to scheduling, the contractor will work with you to coordinate a convenient time.
Were residents previously notified of this project?
Yes. You can view the newsletter that was sent on October 7, 2014, here. In addition, the city held neighborhood meetings to gather residents' input.
