5 • Financial assistance is available, see page 25 for more details. Please see your Safekey/Teen Scene instructor or call 702-267-4100. • Extended stay is offered at each site until 6:30 p.m. for an additional $10 per child per week. Extended stay payment is due the Wednesday prior to the week your child is attending. Payments Parents may register by two methods: • Online registration: until 11:59 p.m. • At any recreation center: hours may vary by location. Payments are not accepted at Safekey/Teen Scene sites. The daily rate can be paid in advance or on the day your child attends the program either online or at a recreation center. All payments must be made prior to your child attending the program. Please pay by check, credit card, money order, or cash. Make checks and money orders payable to the City of Henderson. Once arriving at your Safekey/Teen Scene site, you must present your receipt to site staff for verification of payment/enrollment. Without a receipt, the child will not be permitted to attend the program. We recommend that you save your receipts for tax purposes. We do not automatically issue an end-of-year statement. If you have an online account, you are able to view all transactions online at any time. Please see page 26 for additional information. Convenience Card The Convenience Card is for parents/guardians to use on unplanned days or emergency situations when their child must attend Safekey/Teen Scene but they were unable to use online registration or pay at a recreation center. Review the procedures for use listed below. • Safekey/Teen Scene is a prepaid program and it is required that parents register and pay for their child prior to attending the program. In order for Safekey/Teen Scene to assign adequate staff at each site, registration should be done online or at a recreation center. • Parents must prepay for all scheduled Safekey/Teen Scene programs. If you are unable to register your child due to an emergency, notify the Youth Enrichment office at 702-267-4100 prior to your child attending the Safekey/Teen Scene afternoon program. Parents need not call for the morning program since they must escort their child to the program. • If the Convenience Card account is delinquent, parents/guardians will lose the ability to use the card, have their child attend the program, and may be sent to collections. • Convenience Cards should only be used to pay for unplanned or emergency attendance.
