Public Service Excellence 4. Quality of City Services (Finance) • Awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, relating to the 2015 Comprehensive Annual Financial 2016 Strategic Plan Progress Report | 13 Report (CAFR), for the 34th consecutive year. • Budget received the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for their FY2016 Comprehensive Annual Budget Report (CABR) for the 13th year. • In coordination with Intergovernmental Relations, provided part-time financial expertise to support legislative efforts related to Assembly Bill 394 (reorganization of the Clark County School District). 5. Records Backlog (City Clerk) • The records backlog project is approximately 70 percent complete and is on target to be completed by the end of FY2017. 6. Training Alignment to Business Needs (Human Resources) • Launched a three-tier supervisor development program. Conducted 35 courses with 397 attendees in FY2016. • The ratio of targeted training (training delivered in field to intact teams) to open enrollment met the target of 40/60 for FY2016. • Open enrollment course attendance remains at above target at 16 students per course conducted. • The current course cancellation rate due to poor enrollment has remained at 15 percent, well below the 20 percent target.
