City’s Public Works Assistant Director Elected International VP of ITE

Henderson, Nev. – Recently promoted to assistant director for City of Henderson’s Public Works Department, Alyssa A. Reynolds Rodriguez was elected to serve as international vice president for the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), a community of transportation professionals including engineers, planners, consultants, educators, technologists, and researchers. The organization includes more than 15,000 members in approximately 90 countries.
“ITE is poised for growth,” said Vice President-Elect Rodriguez. The organization has “experienced significant change over the last four years, and now it’s time to capitalize on the strong base [its] leaders have established.” Through her new position, she will be able to act on what she describes as “the recipe for sustainable expansion: foster our legacy, embrace diversity, create opportunity, sponsor and encourage new leaders.”
Rodriguez has held positions at various levels of ITE and has received numerous awards. She will serve a 4-year term.
