Henderson, Nev. – On January 28 at about 6:00 p.m., Henderson Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of American Pacific Drive to reports of shots being fired and one subject shot.

Officers arrived and located a 43-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the neck.  The female was transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and was treated and released.

The suspect, 44-year-old Kenneth Martin, was arrested today on one count of Attempted Murder with a Deadly Weapon with Hate Crime enhancement and booked into the Henderson Detention Center.  A booking photograph is attached.

Due to the fact that this is still an open investigation, no additional details will be released at this time.
