Henderson, Nev. – The Henderson Police Department has added the State of Nevada Department of Corrections Parole Eligibility Report to the city website, making information on when inmates may be released from jail or prison more accessible to the public.

“Our #1 priority is the preservation of community safety and providing an excellent quality of life for our residents”, said Police Chief LaTesha Watson. “This is an informative measure implemented for community members who may be impacted to easily access the information through our website.”
The Parole Eligibility Report will be posted monthly on www.cityofhenderson.com/police/parole-eligibility-report with the names of Nevada corrections inmates that may be granted parole without a hearing. Inmates that are placed on the list are low and moderate-risk offenders.

Henderson Police officers advise victims who may be concerned over the release of an inmate to use Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE), an automated notification system that lets the public track the custody status of offenders. VINE is a free, anonymous and confidential service available 24 hours a day by phone at 1-888-268-8463 or by visiting www.vinelink.com. Victims may also register to be notified of custody changes.
