Industrial Days Celebration Includes a Call for Photos

Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson is seeking photos of the people and places that capture the City, its history and traditions as part of Industrial Days. The event is free, open to all ages and will be held from noon until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 on the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St. Collected images will be on display at this year’s Industrial Days celebration. To participate, visit cityofhenderson.com/Industrial-Days.
 
Live entertainment includes a performance by Las Vegas native and country music rising star Sierra Black whose hits include "Make It Easy."
 
Industrial Days activities include:
 
Rolling Through Time Ongoing
Display of cars representing each decade from 1950-1980; presented by Boulder City Cruisin Association
 
Pie Eating Contest 1:00 p.m.
Presented by Chef Flemming’s Bake Shop
 
Decades Costume Contest 3:00 p.m.
1950s  $500 grand category prize
1960s $500 grand category prize
1970s $500 grand category prize
1980s $500 grand category prize
Best in Show   $500 grand prize
 
Line Dancing on the Plaza  4:00 p.m.

BBQ Dinner with Mayor & Council  5:30 p.m.
