Suspect Arrested in Homicide Investigation

Henderson, Nev. – On March 4, 2019 at approximately 8:00 a.m., the City of Henderson Fire and Police Department responded to the 100 block of Caminito Amore in reference to an unresponsive 63-year-old female in the home.

Preliminary investigation indicated that circumstances surrounding the decedent’s death suggested foul play. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled the death as a homicide on May 9, 2019.

After an in depth investigation, 62-year-old Alan Sylwester was arrested for Open Murder on May 14, 2019.

The identity of the victim, as well as the cause of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

This is being investigated as the fifth homicide in Henderson for 2019.
