Henderson Police Investigating Homicide

Henderson, Nev. – On March 27, at approximately 2:20p.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Shoshone Lane in reference to a report of a subject shot in front of a residence.

Officers arrived on scene to discover a 22-year-old male deceased at the scene of an apparent gunshot wound and a 27-year-old male with minor injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates the two male victims pulled up to a residence in their vehicle when another vehicle pulled up and a male suspect exited the vehicle.  A struggle ensued resulting in the suspect shooting one victim and striking the other victim over the head with an unknown object.

The suspect fled the scene in a white compact vehicle with dark tinted windows and chrome rims.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult of unknown age with a long beard, bushy hair, wearing gray shorts, and a burgundy shirt.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

This is being investigated as the fourth homicide for the City of Henderson for 2020.
