Henderson Detectives, in collaboration with the Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT), identified 38-year-old Wahid Briley as an additional suspect in the October 12, 2019 homicide that occurred on the 2900 block of Clarity Court.
Briley was arrested on April 3rd, 2020 and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon, one count of Attempt Murder with a Deadly Weapon, one count of Conspiracy to commit Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, one count Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, one count Burglary with a Deadly Weapon, 2 counts Attempt Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, and one count of Possession of Stolen Property.

Henderson Police Investigate Shooting Resulting in Death
Henderson, Nev. – On October 12, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to the 2900 block of Clarity Court in reference to shots being fired and two subjects shot.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 40-year-old male and a 45-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds.
The 40-year-old male was deceased at the scene.
The 45-year-old male was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury where he was treated and released.
The motive and suspect are unknown at this time.
Due to the fact that this is still an open investigation, no additional details will be released at this time.
The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
This is being investigated as the ninth homicide in Henderson for 2019.
