The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The program is to expand economic opportunities, ensure decent housing, and provide a suitable living environment for citizens.
- Henderson receives a direct allocation of CDBG funding annually from HUD.
- Each year, starting September or early October, the city begins a new application cycle for CDBG project funding.
- Projects recommended for funding are included in the "One-Year Action Plan."
Citizen Participation Plan Review
Notice is hereby given that the City of Henderson’s Draft Citizen Participation Plan is available for public review and comment online.

Comments may be sent via email to Senta.Robinson@cityofhenderson.com. All comments will be responded to in writing within 10 days of receipt.
A public hearing will be held at Henderson City Hall, during an upcoming City Council Meeting to consider additional comments for the City of Henderson's updates to the Citizen Participation Plan.
