In an effort to invest in our mature neighborhoods, the City of Henderson applied for and received the Brownfield Community-Wide Assessment Grant through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A portion of this grant was used to ready the Drake Street Park parcel for future development. In partnership with this investment and park planning efforts, staff will be asking residents to weigh-in on a variety of health related topics including access, priorities and preferences. Stop by the Healthy Lifestyles station to provide input and discuss your preferences for the neighborhood.
