Zombie Run 5K


October 17, 2020 | 6pm-9pm

Cornerstone Park, 1600 Wigwam Pkwy.

You better run for your life when things go bump in the night. The living dead and everything ghoulish invades Henderson for another fright. Try and survive the apocalypse by using your brains (pun intended) and disguises to outsmart hungry zombies along the 3.1-mile trail. All fitness levels are welcome. Ages 5 and up.

The first 100 participants (5K and walk) get a T-shirt. in-person 5K participants also receive a medal. Virtual 5K participants can pick up their shirts during packet pickup time and location listed below.

To assure the safety of our participants, we will have waves with 25 participants each (5K and 1-mile walk combined). More waves will be added as needed.

Packet Pick Up

Thursday, October 15 | 4pm–7pm
Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican, 102 E. Lake Mead Pkwy.
Packet pickup will be outdoors. Participants can choose to either stay in their car for drive-through pickup or pickup curbside. 

There will be no packet pickup on event day.

Event Check-in

Participants will receive instructions two days prior to the event including their assigned time and a COVID-19 questionnaire. If participants answer yes to any of the COVID-19 questions, they cannot attend the event. Participants that cannot attend due to COVID-19 symptoms will receive a full refund. 

Participants must stay in their car until their assigned time. The check-in process includes a  temperature reading and COVID questionnaire.

Social Distancing

6-foot markers will be placed between participants and will always be required. 7-foot markers will be placed at the Start line. All participants must be on their markers before the start of their wave. Start lines for the 5K and 1-mile walk will be extended to accommodate social distancing. 

Staff will remind participants of social distancing as they run. Participants will be provided two warnings before they are asked to leave the event.


Hand sanitizer will be available at the information table. Two sanitizing stations will be set up aloing the route. Staff will be sanitizing tables and benches throughout the event. Restrooms are available at the event and will be sanitized between waves. 

Face Coverings

Participants and staff are required to wear face coverings or face shields at all times. 

Currently, spectators will not be allowed on site. This may change as we get closer to the event.

Time Limit

Participants will have 45 minutes to complete their 5K or 1-mile walk. After 45 minutes the course is cleared for the next wave of participants.
