To enroll your child in a public school for the first time, you need certain documents to complete your child's registration. Please visit the Clark County School District Web site at http://ccsd.net/parents/enrollment/
for all the information needed for enrollment.
Bus service is provided to all students who live more than two miles from their zoned schools. All eligible students must fill out an application requesting bus transportation. These forms are available at your child's school and the Clark County School District Transportation Department ((702) 799-8100). For routes and schedules, call the respective school. Busses are not allowed to load and unload on private property except when unsafe to do so on the street. Note: If your child requires bus transportation due to special physical needs, please notify the school nurse. A physician's statement may be requested.

Hot lunches and breakfasts are available for purchase at all schools. Breakfast and lunch items are available a la carte at area high schools. Contact the school directly for exact costs. Applications are available at the school office or school cafeteria for free or reduced-price meals for students in grades kindergarten through eight. Before and After School Programs
The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department offers Safekey, a before- and after-school recreational enrichment program, at all Henderson elementary schools. The program provides crafts, games, special activities, nutrition, and homework time for children while their parents work. Safekey also provides milk by way of the USDA Special Milk Program through a grant from the Nevada Department of Education. Teen Scene Program
Sixth through eighth graders enjoy this enriching after-school program with their peers. Provided for parents to ensure teens’ safety, the program features arts and crafts, nutrition, sports, field trips, special events, homework time, and a snack. Teen Scene provides milk by way of the USDA Special Milk Program through a grant from the Nevada Department of Education.
