A complete list of pool rules may be obtained at the front desk of each pool. Please observe these rules. They are strictly enforced for your safety.
- Patrons must have a Participant ID badge to enter these facilities.
- Children under 8 years old must be supervised by a parent/guardian (at least 15 years old) in the water within arm's reach at all times. A ratio of one adult for every five children under age 8 is required.
- Take children on frequent restroom breaks, especially prior to participating in any aquatic program.
- For health and safety reasons, we request that patrons who are ill refrain from participating in aquatic activities, particularly if experiencing symptoms of diarrhea.
- Please rinse off or shower before entering the pool.
- No spitting on pool decks or in pool drains and gutters.
- Do not change children's diapers on the deck. Please use the changing tables provided in the restrooms and dispose of diapers properly.
- Children wishing to swim in water deeper than their standing depth must be able to demonstrate that they can tread water and swim across the pool safely.
- Swimmers unable to tread water and swim across the pool in a safe manner are encouraged to stay in shallow water and are not allowed on diving boards or slides.
- Only appropriate swimwear is allowed in the pool. No cutoffs, T-shirts, thongs, jean shorts, etc.
- During inclement weather or other circumstances, the pools may be closed. The City of Henderson is not responsible for these occurrences. No refunds or rain checks will be issued.
- Smoking and/or use of tobacco products, including but not limited to, tobacco-free chew, electronic cigarettes, or any other product of this nature is permitted only in areas so designated by posted signs or areas noted by staff. These areas are not located near or around youth patrons and are prohibited in facilities or aquatic environments.
- Glass, alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited.
- No running or horseplay in or about the facility.
- All floatation devices including lifejackets must be U.S Coast Guard approved.
- Private instruction and commercial programming without an approved agreement is prohibited. Parents may instruct their own children.
- Patrons are prohibited from any action that disrupts or obstructs a city event, program or activity. This includes behavior deemed to make others (participants or staff) feel uncomfortable.
- All lifeguard and management instructions must be followed. This includes any safety-related policies and/or procedures related to COVID-19.
