October is Code Compliance Month Banner

The month of October is Code Compliance Month

The City of Henderson and the American Association of Code Enforcement recognize October as National Code Compliance month. Code Enforcement Officers assist in ensuring the safety and welfare of residents through enforcement of municipal codes and ordinances including building, zoning, housing, environmental, health and life safety. Code Enforcement officers are highly qualified professionals who work to prevent neighborhood deterioration while enhancing and ensuring safety and quality of life for residents.

Henderson officers not only address their typical duties with respect and professionalism but tackle new citywide challenges such as Park Rules Enforcement via innovation and collaboration with other departments like Parks and Recreation, Neighborhood Services, Henderson PD and more. Mayor, Council and City Leadership would like to recognize and honor our Code Enforcement team for their service throughout the year and bring awareness to the importance of Code Enforcement this October.
