Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
All the resources listed below will require the use of MFA. If you have yet to setup MFA, you can visit the following link to walk through setting it up.
QuickHelp
QuickHelp will have all the training resources need to assist you in getting setup in order to telecommute. You can get to QuickHelp by following the link below and logging on with your City of Henderson credentials. Once logged on, there is a Skill Path called Telecommuting at the City of Henderson. Take the time to work through the Skill Path to get a better understanding on how to Telecommute.
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is the primary tool that will be utilized to communicate with other employees. It will allow you to chat as well as have audio and video conferences with your section, division, or even department. Teams can be installed on both your computer and mobile device (cell phone and tablet). You can find the install available from Microsoft by visiting the following link.
Cisco Jabber
To use your desk phone from home, Cisco Jabber will be used to provide what is referred to as a softphone. A softphone allows you to use your computer to make and receive calls as if you were at your desk. You can find the install for both Windows and Mac by visiting the following link.
Cisco Webex
Cisco Webex is another tool that the City of Henderson has available to support audio and video conferences as well being able to have a conference number to act as a conference bridge. Webex can be installed on both your computer and mobile device (cell phone and tablet). You can find the install available from Cisco by visiting the following link. Make sure to download Webex Meetings and not Webex Teams.
