The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department has established the Henderson Arts Advisory Commission to advise and make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Department and City Council for the promotion, creation, and support of City Arts programs, including performing arts, literary arts, and public arts education.

City ordinance 4028 was adopted on June 4, 2024 enacting the Henderson Arts Advisory Commission in accordance to Henderson Municipal Code 2.50.

Meetings will be determined by article VI of the approved Henderson Arts Advisory Commission Bylaws. Bylaws will be approved at the first meeting of the Henderson Arts Advisory Commission.
