America First Center
Located in Henderson's flourishing Water Street District, America First Center is a 120,000-square-foot indoor hockey facility opened on Nov. 10, 2020.
America First Center (formerly Lifeguard Arena) gives the Henderson Silver Knights - the Golden Knights' AHL team - a practice home while expanding VGK youth programs in Henderson.

The facility also hosts youth and adult hockey programs, figure skating, family skates, meetings, special events and more.

Free Public Skate
Beat the heat, and get on the ice! The City of Henderson and America First Center are teaming up to offer free public skates to our community on select dates this year. Skaters of all ages and experience levels are welcome!
Registration is required in order to participate. Skate rentals are FREE on the following dates, and you MUST be registered to attend the Free Public Skate events. Registration will open approximately 3 weeks before each skate date.

All-Participant Skate
The all-participant skates are also FREE with registration. These dates do not include skate rentals at America First Center, however skate rentals are available for $3 or you can bring your own. You must be registered to participate.
*Limit, one All-Participant Skate per person, per year.
