The City of Henderson Financial Assistance Program offers support to Henderson residents for parks and recreation programs and provides residents the opportunity to participate in more programs through a subsidy percentage.

The Financial Assistance Program is only available to Henderson residents for parks and recreation programs including:

• Aquatics Memberships
• Classes
• Fitness Memberships
• Out-of-School Programs*
• Preschool
• Youth Sports Programs

*To be considered for financial assistance for City of Henderson out-of-school programs for children under the age of 13; such as Safekey, Teen Scene, Battle Born Kids, etc., patrons must first seek assistance from the Child Care Development Fund through the State of Nevada Division of Welfare & Supportive Services via Las Vegas Urban League. The childcare certificate, wait list letter, or denial letter must be included with the application. Other funding sources include Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada or Desert Regional Center. 

Financial Assistance FAQs

City of Henderson residents may now apply for a one-time program specific scholarship. Funds are awarded based on availability of program or membership desired and may not be available for all requests.

To apply for financial assistance or scholarship, email COHFinAid@cityofhenderson.com to receive an application.

Financial Assistance Applications require:

• Proof of residency with applicant's copy of State-issued ID or current utility bill
• Certificates from Las Vegas Urban League, Desert Regional Center, or Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada
• Statement of desired program participation

 Scholarship Applications require:

• Proof of Henderson residency with applicant’s copy of State-issued picture ID OR current utility bill.
• Statement of desired program participation
