One of seven divisions within Public Works, the Administration division provides the leadership, direction, focus, oversight and coordination to all divisions of Public Works by providing and maintaining cost accounting functions, oversight and support of departmental personnel activities, development and guidance in department performance objectives, and preparation and submission of internal and externally required reports. Administration ensures a consistent and predictable level of performance within Public Works and is responsible for the overall financial and budget preparation and reporting for the Public Works department operating budget.

Public Works Administration is responsible for overseeing the department's participation in the Development Services Center, the administration of the citywide Capital Improvement Program, development and enforcement of department-wide standard operating procedures, coordination of the departmental asset management program, oversight and development of department's network structure, coordination and development of the department budget, oversight and detailed financial analysis, and maintain the Public Works presence on the City of Henderson website.
