• Performs engineering and drafting services to locate, design, and estimate cost for designated public works projects
• Provides consulting engineering selection and management services
• Performs administrative services during project bidding and award process
• Performs construction engineering services to assist the Quality Control division during the construction phase of city projects
• Maintains Public Works record drawings and maps
• Reviews construction drawings for conformance with City of Henderson standards and sound engineering practices
• Represents the city on committees and boards related to Public Works including the Statewide Transportation Technical Advisory Committee, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and the Clark County Regional Flood Control District.
