This abandoned gravel pit was designated a Henderson redevelopment area in 2001. Today, Tuscany is a masterplanned community boasting 33 floor plans starting in the low $300,000; a 35,000 square foot recreation center, an old world marketplace; miles of open trails, and palm trees. The18-hole golf course at the Tuscany Golf Club features 6,906 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.8 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ted Robinson, ASGCA, the Tuscany golf course opened in 2003. OB Sports Golf Management LLC manages this facility, with Tom Vold as the General Manager.
